I don't have cable so I'm always a year behind on Degrassi (waiting for the DVDs and all). Therefore, I have some Palex and Paige-centric questions that I hope someone can answer. :)

Hope this isn't too off-topic, but it's not like there's any Palex news happening anyway. [Although apparently there will be a Degrassi movie at the end of Season 8 (which will include Paige), so...maybe!] Besides, new Deanna footage for fanvids or weird mashups, I guess.
Deanna is in a new webseries called Hooking Up on youtube. I haven't watched much of it yet but it seems like she's one of the main characters. Her character (named Emily - how interesting) does vlogs--there's one about text etiquette. And the character's myspace page lists "not sure" for orientation, which would be an interesting road for them to go down.

hey yall i was looking threw my friends pages of what i missed recently and I saw someone discussing the airings in Canada. I live in the US and the ONLY station I even get it on is on my digital cable and they stopped playing season 7 and have been contiusely playing repeats.....has anyone else seen this? and does anyone kno if theres anywhere you can buy seasons on dvd?

Something of interest:
Canada has skipped "Love Is a Battlefield" entirely. They didn't switch the order around or anything, they just outright didn't air it. And the schedule seems to indicate that they have no plans to air it anytime soon.
What?
On the upside, maybe this means the backlash had some effect and they realized they screwed the pooch (I know there's been a MASSIVE backlash. They had to set up a specific form letter just to respond to all the unhappy e-mails). But on the other hand, they need to at least explain what happened since the events are mentioned in subsequent episodes. But airing it out of sequence in it's current form will make absolutely no sense.
I'm curious to see how this all plays out.
EDIT: Not only did they skip airing LIAB, but there is absolutely no record of it's existence on the official/CTV website. There are people on the boards over there asking "WTF did I miss? Where did Alex go?"
Suspicious indeed... but I'm hoping this could mean good things for us. Especially if this winds up being the last season Which I have a sneaking suspicion it might be (there are extra episodes this season, and the episode titles seem more... final than any of the others have been)

Some of you may know me from paige-alex.com and know of my story, Agony which I started in August and have written about seventeen chapters of.
A friend of mine has been bugging me for a while now to get it up on my LJ, so finally, now that i have some time, i have posted the prologue and the first 5 chapters of my story over on my journal.
For those of you who haven't hear of Agony, here are some details.

Summary: Alex grew up rich and happy, but her sixteenth birthday changes her life, and she loses herself. Paige was a happy, if not so rich child, until a party that changed her for good. Paige and Alex have something in common, something that brings them together but there are many things trying to push them apart, a jealous ex, a secret sibling, a father from hell... what will it take for them to keep it together and their relationship in tact? Only time will tell.

Sorry to be a bother, but I'd just like to let everyone know that I am hosting a new set of blog crews, over here.
There are currently ninety-seven different crews to choose from, all different animes, video games, television series, and many other fandoms and quirks, so I'm hoping there will be a little something that anybody and everyone can enjoy.
